Wondering if I add erythritol and Supraketo Weight Loss Formula keto chocolate chips if it would taste good. I like cookies that have a little crunch to them. These are amazing but I have a question. When I am cutting out the biscuits, how many does this cut? Do I use 2 of these one for the top and one support for ketosis the bottom or should I be making these thick enough to cut them in half? I made them but it only made 7 total and had to use 2 to make a sandwich. Without this info I don’t really know how many net carbs I just ate. But then at the bottom it says yields 12. Help. I am guessIng this makes 12 and I am supposed to cut in half but they are not thick enough to do so.
Jade, this recipes makes 12 biscuits that are then cut in half to make a sandwich. They aren’t flat biscuits, they are fluffy and can easily be sliced. I pat the dough into a disk that is about 1/2 inch thick and then cut them out. If you only got 7 I am assuming you used a biscuit cutter that was a much larger in diameter than I did. Has anyone tried freezing them in freezer/wax/parchment paper and then reheating in microwave or air fryer? I want to try it! My dough is super wet… I just add more almond flour? Meg, it’s very difficult to troubleshoot without being there. The dough should be moist and a little sticky, but I would never say wet. If you feel it needs more flour I would gradually add more in. What is the nutritional content with out the sausage? You can refer to this post. These are FIRE!!!! So gooooood! How do you store the leftover biscuits?

Do they freeze well? I’m in the process of making these. I’ve read through the recipe several times and read comments/questions. What size biscuit cutter should I use? Mine yielded 9 1/2 biscuits. That’s unfortunate as I am serving 5 adults and hoped fir at least 2 per person. A typical sausage patty is about 3 inches in diameter, that is the size I made my biscuits. Did you try the coconut flour? I have that as well! Hi Megan, Yes these freeze well. Just thaw, slice and toast, or slice before freezing and toast from frozen. Can you make the dough a day ahead? Yes one day ahead should be fine, I wouldn’t do it any further out than that though.
What role does the cheddar-cheese play in the recipe ? Is it primarily for texture, taste or a binder ? I’d like to try the recipe but we’re not into ‘cheese’.
