We have been monitoring the weather for Wednesday. It appears like the heavy snow is to start in the afternoon. With this understanding, the security of our participants is our highest concern. We have decided to end the Job Placement Bureau one hour earlier (12pm).

JOB PLACEMENT BUREAU

The Illinois School Psychologists Association's Job Placement Bureau will take place on Wednesday, February12th, from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm, at the Bloomington-Normal Mariott Hotel and Conference Center, 201 Broadway, Normal, IL 61761. Position openings for internships and employment from around the state will be represented, and members will have an opportunity to satisfy face to face with agents from the numerous districts that participate in. Districts will have the opportunity to highlight their openings for all who are interested.

If you are seeking a School Psychologist or internship position, you need to send your resume/vita. Please restrict your submission to one side of an 8 1/2 by 11 inch sheet of paper. Make certain to suggest what type of position you are looking for (INTERNSHIP or EMPLOYMENT) in the subject line when you email your file (in Word or PDF format) to [e-mail secured] You may send your resume/vita regardless of whether you are preparing to participate in the Convention. There is no additional cost for this service. All resumes sent will be provided to potential employers. As an outcome, it is necessary that you keep your resume/vita to one page. If you would like to participate in the Job Placement Bureau to talk to prospective employees/interns. Each that signs up will be enabled approximately two recruiters.

You will need to know standard details about the available employment and/or internship positions such as whether or not you will be going to the Job Placement Bureau and what specific positions are readily available.

Additionally, due to area constraints, just 70 tables are offered. One table will be conserved for the first 70 districts that complete the survey in totality (Job Placement Survey) along with send their registration costs. The fee for each table will be $75.00.
