Bio-diesel made from food in oil-rich UAEClose

The Middle East is a region where cars and truck is king and fuel is low-cost, often leaving little incentive to find more environmentally-friendly ways of moving around.

But this year, as demonstrations throughout the Middle East have pressed up the price of oil, the concern of finding alternative of fuel has actually entered into sharp focus.

In a region that has one of the greatest carbon footprints worldwide, one business is making the most of the growing pressure to find alternatives to oil.
